Hello everypony and welcome to MLP-FiM-OCs! You are allowed to join and submit art as long as you're nice to others and follow the rules.
FAQ and Submission Rules
PLEASE READ BELOW
Q: Can I join?
A: Yes, of course, you don't need to ask! But please - follow the rules. All join requests are accepted, so you do not need to add any short message to your join request.
Q: Do I need to join to submit art?
A: Yes, you must join in order to submit art.
Q: Can I submit into Featured?
A: No, you are not allowed to submit into the Featured folder.
Q: Where do I submit art?
A: You submit art into Gallery Folders.
Q: Into which folder should I submit my drawing?
A: Check our gallery folders first before submiting into the wrong folder. In the "Gallery Folders" box, click on the gallery you want to submit in and read what the folder is about (bellow it's name). If you still don't know, ask one of our admins and we'll help you.
Q: I've drawn an OC that is not mine, can I still submit it?
A: Yes you may, as long as it's an OC and MLP:FiM related.
Q: Why was my submission declined?
A: There are several reasons to this happening, but the main answer would be that either it has been submited to the wrong folder, not following the submission rules or inappropriate for the group.
Q: I have more than two ponies in a picture, where would I submit it?
A: If there are more than one kind of pony of the same race, then put it into "Group Shots" folder, if the ponies are a different race then place it into the "Mixed Ponies" folder.
Q: Are pony creators (screen shoted) allowed?
A: No, pony creators are not allowed. Even if it's edited to a standard quality. This group is all about pony art, not screenshot edits. Anything involving a creator is not accepted.
Q: I used a base/colored a lineart. May I submit it?
A: No, you may not submit used bases/linearts into the group, even if you've traced over it. However, if you made a base/lineart, you may submit it into "Bases and lineart" group folder.
Q: My picture contains sexual themes and/or violence and gore, is that allowed?
A: We are a G rated group, so that is not allowed either.
Q: Why can't I advertise my commissions into the group gallery?
A: Because this group is strictly for art only, not for advertising artists. Do NOT submit journal posts here as they will be declined.
Q: Can I use the OCs in this group?
A: No, you cannot. We do not own every single OC submitted into this group. If you would like to use an OC, ask the creator of the OC, not us.
• Respect
Respect everyone in the group, especially the ones working for it! (AKA all the contributors, co-founders and the founder) If you're mean and argue about something you don't know, you'll likely to get banned. If you don't know something, ask nicely and you'll surely get the correct answer.
• Don't be mean
Don't be mean to any person, don't argue, don't threat and don't use bad language. There are some people on here that look forward into nice groups like this.
• Don't steal
Nobody likes art thieves. Don't steal artwork, we will shortly notice it and report you.
• No chain messages
We all know it doesn't work...
• Check the folders in our gallery before submitting
Many times, artworks have been sent into the wrong folder. To save your time and ours, please check the folders first to see where your piece would go into.
• No asking for points/llamas/watches
This is not a group like dAllamas or llamaMarket, if you want to ask for points, llamas or watches go to plz accounts or point giveaway accounts.
• No spamming/trolling the page
Relates well with the rule above. Don't spam and troll the page, we can and will likely block you and remove the comment.
• No 'selling art'/contest comments or blogs
No contest comments, advertising artworks or blogs unless it's for this group.
